What is implemented

NutriBuddyAI connects to WHOOP through its authorization flow and uses the developer v2 API. The implemented sync fetches recovery records, sleep records and workout summaries. Available observations can include the provider’s recovery score, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep information and workout heart-rate and intensity summaries.

The connection requests recovery, sleep, workout and body-measurement access plus offline access. A requested permission does not mean every associated measurement is displayed or available for every date.

Connect and use the records

Choose WHOOP in NutriBuddyAI’s wearable settings, sign in on the provider’s authorization page and approve the connection. After a successful connection the app requests a sync; review the imported dates and workouts before using them in a comparison.

Your own food logs provide meal and nutrition context. WHOOP does not supply your diary meals, set-by-set gym weights or a complete explanation of why performance changed.

Understand the limits

Sync depends on authorization, available scored records and the provider’s responses. One endpoint can be unavailable while others succeed, and a recent workout may not yet be present. Missing data should not be interpreted as a zero recovery score.

Workout summaries are not a guaranteed second-by-second heart-rate stream. WHOOP HRV and Apple Health SDNN observations use different methods and should not be treated as interchangeable. You can disconnect WHOOP through the account controls. The integration does not imply an official partnership, provider endorsement or a medical service.
